The aims of the Guild are:

To promote the practice of the art of Puppetry & Model Theatre.

To maintain an effective communication network between our members, other related organisations and associated bodies.

To preserve and share the heritage of British Puppetry & Model Theatre.
The British Puppet Guild is the oldest puppetry organisation in the world. Whilst we focus on British Puppetry & Model Theatre, we also welcome members joining us from all over the world.

We welcome members from all skill levels: if you're looking to improve your Puppetry, learn more about the history of Model Theatre in the country or just want to be more active in the UK Puppetry scene, then the Guild is the place for you!
UK Membership
Current annual subscription rates for members based within the United Kingdom:
Class A Full adult membership (£25 per annum)
Class B Members reaching retirement age with more than five years membership are entitled to a special discounted rate (£23 per annum)
Class C Junior member in full time education (£17 per annum)
Class G Group or family membership (£35 per annum)
Membership – European Region

Current annual subscription rates for members living in Europe:
(The rates vary slightly from UK rates to reflect the cost of servicing your overseas membership, you will receive the full benefits of being a member of the Guild).

Class B European members reaching retirement age with more than five years membership are entitled to a special discounted rate (£30 per annum)
Class C European junior member in full time education (£25 per annum)
Class G European group or family membership (£40 per annum)
