British Puppet Guild celebrates 100 years

Throughout 2025 the British Puppet Guild will be celebrating its100th year, with several Guild events taking place up and down the country. Combine our events with other non-guild events, and we have a whole year packed with something for everyone. Here are some dates for your diary.

A Christmas Carol is coming to the Harlequin Puppet Theatre, Rhos-on-Sea, North Wales – December 20th & 21st, 2025, Performances at 3PM & 7PM both days.
This festive season, the Harlequin Puppet Theatre invites you to experience Charles Dickens’ timeless tale as you’ve never seen it before, told entirely through the magic of marionettes in its first new production in many years. Join Ebenezer Scrooge as he confronts his past, present, and future in a hauntingly beautiful retelling of this timeless tale. So wrap up warm, settle in, and let the strings of storytelling transport you to a world where the spirit of Christmas glows in every heart.
Tickets on sale from Monday 1st September at 7pm. A limited number of tickets will be available, so book early to avoid disappointment.

A members only event which has proved very popular over the last few years. The venue is the Whately Hall Hotel in Banbury. Perfect location for those who live not too far away, and plenty of good accomodation for those that want to stay over and make a weekend of it.
